About NLLN
The Northern Lights Library Network is the largest of the 7 multi-county, multitype library cooperative systems in Minnesota. We serve all types of libraries in the 23 counties of Northwest and West Central Minnesota. Membership includes more than 300 libraries: academic libraries (private and public), school libraries, public libraries in 4 regional public library systems and a variety of special libraries. Our offices are located in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Goals
- Facilitate educational opportunities in the NLLN region for NLLN member library staff, trustees, and Friends of the Library through continuing education and staff development activities.
- Advocate on behalf of all libraries.
- Facilitate sharing ideas, materials, expertise, and experience within the NLLN community through effective communication.
- Strengthen cooperation among all types of libraries in the NLLN region through resource sharing.
